Angstrom 5550 is the culmination of what was at one time the CBLL Radio, CIRadio, and The Outhouse. It now serves as a privately-controlled location to serve audio and video associated with yeroc.us.
Angstrom 5550 refers to the wavelength of light, in angstroms, which the both the sun emits at the highest intensity and the human eye is most sensitive. One angstrom is 0.1 nanometers, corresponsing to the wavelength of 555 nanometers.
Starting in 2002, long before the days of Flash Video and the YouTube empire, I was producing video and audio for internet distribution. We used Windows Media embedded players and ASX files to deliver content in a clunky yet usable way.
